The new ECOLINE VC-280

Two New Members of the ECOLINE Series

The new ECOLINE series (now with a blue label) has two new members:

•   VC-Easy-Load with an Easy-Load pump head
•   VC-MC/CA4-12 with 4 MS/CA cassettes and 12 pump rollers

The models of the new ECOLIN series have the advantage that they can be switched between 115V/60Hz and 230V/50Hz easily.

Attention: Some of the new pump models have new order numbers.

MiniClick: Worldwide the Smallest Cassette

The new MiniClick Cassettes are now available on panel mounted pump heads with 3 or 6 channels. The highlights of the new cassettes are:

– Worldwide the smallest cassette: 7.7 cm width, 6 cm height
– Inlet and outlet on the same side
– Accurately adjustable pressure (2.5 mm Allen screw )
– Each cassettes is an individual pump-channel
– Optimized tubing retainers for 2-stop tubing
– Head available separately or with synchronous motor and gear box
– Bracket: brushed chromium steel

Medium Pressure Chromatography
cost-sensitively optimized with a gear pump

The use of ISMATEC gear pumps opens up new, cost-saving opportunities for the pulse-free delivery of eluents in the medium pressure chromatography. In the semi-preparative synthesis of medical active substances, in this way a separation and cleaning of oligonucleotides was carried out with standard columns with silica gel packs and reverse-phase columns. Not only pure solvents are processed, the BVP-Z with PPS gears was also used for an optimum separation of gradients with 2 solvents such as used with HPLC. For pumping the eluents the BVP-Z with PPS gears was used. The pulse-free flow ensures that the columns are not stressed too much and, hence, can be used longer.
